Zoals we in het vorige artikel al aangaven, behalen exploitanten van foodtrucks over het algemeen het grootste deel van hun jaarwinst tijdens zomerevenementen. In de koude wintermaanden is de toestroom van klanten aanzienlijk lager door factoren zoals temperatuur, sneeuwdek, afstand, enzovoort. Bovendien zijn klanten niet erg bereid om in de vrieskou op hun eten te wachten. Hoewel veel foodtrucks ervoor kiezen om te sluiten, zijn er manieren om uw foodtruck ook in de winter winstgevend te houden. Op basis van gesprekken met een aantal van onze klanten hebben we een aantal tips verzameld om uw foodtruck ook in de koudere maanden draaiende en winstgevend te houden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Zorg ervoor dat uw foodtruck<\/a> functioneert naar behoren<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Koude omstandigheden en sneeuwval kunnen ook schade aanrichten aan uw foodtrailer, zoals aan uw waterleidingen, banden, interieur en meer. Daarom is het belangrijk om een aantal voorzorgsmaatregelen te nemen om dit te voorkomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het eerste wat je moet doen, is ervoor zorgen dat je waterleidingen niet bevriezen. Onze wastafels hebben allemaal verwarmingselementen, dus dat is geen probleem. Ten tweede moet je de kwaliteit van je banden controleren. Door het zware gewicht van de foodtrailer is het erg gemakkelijk om te slippen tijdens het rijden in de sneeuw. Door sneeuwkettingen te monteren of winterbanden te gebruiken, zorg je ervoor dat je trailer veilig op zijn bestemming aankomt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ook het binnenklimaat van de foodtruck is belangrijk. Klanten willen niet in de koude wind op hun eten wachten, en de chauffeur wil natuurlijk ook niet in de kou eten bereiden. Door airconditioning of verwarming in de truck te installeren, blijft het zelfs in de winter warm en comfortabel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ongeacht of je actief bent op sociale media of offline, je moet een actieve online aanwezigheid behouden. Als een klant je updates op sociale media niet ziet, denkt hij misschien dat je vandaag gesloten bent. Hoewel offline evenementen in de winter minder frequent zijn dan in andere seizoenen, trekken ze wel degelijk een bepaald aantal mensen. Neem actief deel aan winterevenementen, feesten en bijeenkomsten rond de feestdagen, en houd evenementen in de buurt in de gaten, want zo kun je meer klanten aantrekken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Samenwerken met enkele lokale instellingen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Voor sommige kantoormedewerkers is het vinden van eten in de winter ook een groot probleem. Je kunt ervoor kiezen om samen te werken met bedrijven die lunch of afternoon tea tegen een lagere prijs aanbieden. Of je kunt een partnerschap aangaan met bars die geen eten serveren en wat marketing inzetten om je eigen eten te verkopen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Menu-update<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kies verschillende gerechten afhankelijk van het seizoen. In de winter zijn warme koffie, warme chocolademelk en warme maaltijden natuurlijk het wachten meer waard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Keuze van de vestigingsplaats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tijdens de koude wintermaanden is het verstandig om een plek voor je foodtruck te zoeken met veel voetgangers en om de nabijgelegen wegen sneeuwvrij te houden. Dit maakt het voor je klanten een stuk gemakkelijker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
